10 tips to help you remember new words:

1. Learn phrases instead of words.

2. Repeat the word 7-10 times. Use it the next day, the next wekk, and the next month.

3. Use post-it notes (sticky notes).

4. Keep a vocabulary diary.

5. Draw a picture.

6. Make word associations.

7. Write 3 sentences using the word in context.

8. Limit how many words you learn each day.

9. Learn related words.

10. Make flashcards.
