I’m sorry to say that the time and energy students devoted to reading are very limited. Besides, some students prefer to read cartoons, magazines and newspapers rather than classic reading materials.

I think there are various reasons. First, most of the students haven’t realized the importance of reading, especially extracurricular reading. Second, quite a lot of students are burdened with too much homework. Last but not the least, some still haven’t formed a habit of reading. However, reading has many benefits. Through reading we can learn more about the world. Reading can help us think better and make our life more colorful.
