John, in the story, was determined to give up smoking, but he failed many times because he always thought tomorrow was a good time to start. In fact no one can achieve success without instant beginning.

Almost everyone agrees to the old saying: Don't put off till tomorrow what should be done today. But it is not often the case with some people. I am one of them. When admitted to the senior high school, I ranked 3 in the class, regarding total exams grades. I had planed to finish all the homework and preview the lessons on entering the high school, but every day we had so much to do. Gradually, I left some homework undone, let alone previewing the lessons, comforting myself that I could do it tomorrow. Sometimes, I could make it up, but mostly, I couldn't. Then, in the first major exam, I ranked 40 in the class.

I realize that we need to keep it in mind not to leave today’s work to tomorrow. Only by doing that will we work with determination and spare no effort to solve the difficulties on our way to success.
